SCIEMETRIC® INTRODUCES THE 3300 LEAK TEST SYSTEM FOR INK JET CARTRIDGE TESTING
New 3300 series catches ink jet cartridge defects that other leak testers can’t find
Sciemetric®, a global leader in product quality test systems, is pleased to announce the release of the 3300 Leak Test System for ink jet cartridge testing.
The 3300 System completes a test cycle in a fraction of the time of other leak test systems and yet the 3300 System can detect leaks that other testers can not find. The 3300 software uses Sciemetric’s advanced signature analysis algorithms to detect ink jet cartridge leaks, both to atmosphere and between chambers. These algorithms have been designed specifically for leak testing and deliver industry-leading measurement accuracy and Gage R&R (repeatability and reproducibility). Other leak test systems do not employ the advanced Signature Analysis algorithms used in the 3300 System, and often result in either missed defects or rejected good cartridges.
Sciemetric’s 3300 Leak Test System is the lowest cost-per-chamber leak test solution on the market. The 3300 can monitor up to 24 separate cartridge chambers simultaneously, unlike competitive leak test systems that can only test one cartridge at a time.
Easy to operate, the 3300 Leak Test System has a familiar look and feel that users are comfortable with. The powerful controller is based on proven Intel Pentium™ processor architecture and the Windows NT™ operating system. Many competitive leak test systems are based on a non-standard proprietary architecture that can only be serviced and maintained at significant cost by the leak test supplier.
Ink jet manufacturers who have implemented the 3300 Leak Test System have experienced better quality ink jet cartridges being built at a higher throughput, leading to lower costs and improved customer satisfaction.
The 3300 Leak Test System is now available to customers.
