Position Summary:

In this role, you will be an active member of a small technical support team resolving network and desktop issues while supporting many different business tools as part of multinational company. You will be an integral part of the IT department helping solve daily issues as well as continually improving business processes in a growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend to the daily network administrative duties including maintenance of daily backup schedules, server/desktop troubleshooting and upgrades, software patching, network monitoring, and performance/security improvements
  • First line technical support for 50+ users located in Pune and remote offices around the globe
  • Install and support workstations, software applications, VoIP, WLAN and networking equipment
  • Configure and manage the local network and server infrastructure
  • Research and procurement of IT related assets
  • Provide hands-on support of Microsoft Windows Operating systems and Office software products as required
  • Maintain and monitor system security software (anti-spam, anti-virus) and hardware (firewalls)
  • Update ISO procedure documents as required
  • Write and maintain training materials and deliver training to onsite and remote users
  • Limited after-hours work will be required
  • Adhere to and enforcement of company security policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A completed two year technology diploma with four years of related experience; or a degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline plus two years of experience
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows desktop, Server and networking issues
  • Functional knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy Management
  • Familiar with modern hardware, firewall, managed switches, software, and SaaS technologies
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills

Desirable Attributes:

  • Practical administration and development experience of SharePoint used as a document management system
  • Experience as a Salesforce.com administrator with experience developing APEX classes and triggers as well as Visualforce pages
  • Experience working in a VMWare environment managing multiple ESXi hosts
  • Experience with network performance and monitoring tools
  • Experience administering Office365 including Teams Voice
  • Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with the following technologies:
    • Office 365 & OneDrive

    • Microsoft Hyper-V

    • Antivirus Software Management

    • NAS devices

    • Veeam Backup & Replication

    • EMM software
