Case Study: Manufacturer compares data from leak test stations to boost throughput, reduce bottlenecks
Manufacturing lines often feature multiple leak test stations to meet throughput requirements. Upon review of the waveform data, it was evident that Leak Tester #1 was performing more effectively than Leak Tester #2. The first leak tester reached fill and stabilization 1.7x faster than the second. Applying the lessons learned from the first test to the second would eliminate the common leak test production issue of bottlenecks and reduce the number of leak test stations required—not to mention lead to a greater repeatability leak test, improving product quality.
