Sciemetric moves into bigger and better Michigan facility

Company on a hiring push driven by strong growth

October 17, 2016 – Ottawa, Canada – Sciemetric Instruments Inc. (www.sciemetric.com) a pioneer of Industry 4.0 smart technologies used by many global manufacturers to increase yield, improve quality and optimize manufacturing processes, has expanded into a new office and training facility in Rochester Hills, Mich. to better serve the region’s manufacturing sector.

The new facility provides Sciemetric with greater capability and square footage to support customers and train them on its products. An interactive training facility can accommodate up to 30 people at a time for practical, hands-on learning. An Integrated Systems Division (ISD) can build stations for customers wanting turnkey implementation of Sciemetric technology. The facility can also deliver a full-range of leak test services, such as for trials, maintenance and calibration.

Over the past six months, Sciemetric has been expanding its operations across the board to ramp up the new facility, hiring application and sales engineers, and product and account managers.

“I’m excited about the potential of this new facility to help us better support our key customers and expand our reach into target markets like automotive and off-highway,” said Greg Len, Sciemetric’s VP of Global Sales and Business Development. “Sciemetric is growing at a remarkable rate and we have sized this space to accommodate continued growth. We are always on the lookout for great talent to add to our team.”

Sciemetric will use the new space to carry out trials and demonstrations of products such as Sciemetric Studio, the next generation of its manufacturing analytics software, and its 3520 Leak Test System.

Michigan Hills is just one of many new or expanded facilities Sciemetric has in key locations across North America and overseas in India, the U.K. and China.
