Nathan Sheaff - Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Nathan is an Electrical Engineering graduate of the University of Waterloo. In 1981, he founded Sciemetric Instruments and began his pioneering work in the development of Signature Analysis technology to detect defects in manufacturing and assembly operations. His success led to the installation of Sciemetric system solutions at an impressive list of Fortune 500 corporations such as Ford, GM and DaimlerChrysler. Early operations in the company were financed strictly through sales revenue and in 1991 Nathan partnered with the Appel family of Toronto to help finance growth through product development and market expansion. In 2002, additional venture capital financing was raised to continue this expansion and commercialize the company’s technology.
