Mark Potesta is the General Manager of Sciemetric Instruments ULC. He joined the company in 2024, bringing extensive experience in global business leadership and a strong background in technology and sales. Before joining Sciemetric, Mark progressed his career at General Motors, Delphi, Gentherm, Panasonic, and TE Connectivity. Over his more than 25-year career, Mark has gained perspectives from Tier 1, Tier 2, and OEM lenses.

In addition to his business expertise, Mark has broad technical skills, having held multiple engineering positions including Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He graduated with honors with a master’s degree in electrical engineering with an added business administration option.

Mark’s inspirational leadership style has a focus on team alignment and contribution to the attainment of business objectives. He creates clarity in roles with deliverables and accountability to ensure successful execution. Mark encourages communication, transparency, and integrity while being respectful to all.

Cyndi Gould is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of progressive experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, and operational management across multiple industries. She brings a strong track record of driving financial performance, optimizing resource allocation, and navigating complex financial environments.

 As Director of Finance at Sciemetric, Cyndi leads all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, compliance, reporting, and risk management. She supports corporate strategy by delivering actionable financial insights and ensuring strong fiscal governance. Her leadership has resulted in improved internal controls, streamlined processes, and meaningful contributions to the company’s continued growth and profitability.

With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering focused on ultrasonics for non-destructive testing (NDT), Andy Bashford began his career in academic research before transitioning to application engineering and ultimately into technical sales. For over 20 years, he has held sales and leadership roles across a range of technology companies serving the manufacturing sector, with expertise in engine and vehicle systems, sensors, aviation test equipment, data acquisition, automation, and more. His background includes solution development for complex customer requirements and managing sales efforts in highly specialized, performance-driven industries.

As Director of International Sales at Sciemetric, Andy leads global sales operations across North America, South America, Asia, and Europe. He is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and aligning customer needs with Sciemetric’s advanced test and inspection solutions. His hands-on experience, field-oriented approach, and technical expertise enable him to build strong customer relationships and deliver tailored, high-value solutions worldwide.

Louis V. Arthurton, P.Eng., MBA, is an accomplished electrical engineer and operations leader with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, robotics, and industrial technology. He has held key roles at Ford Motor Company, Kawasaki Robotics, and Allen Bradley, where he led complex engineering initiatives and cross-functional teams. Louis holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Windsor, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.

As Director of Operations at Sciemetric, Louis leads global project delivery and professional services, driving operational efficiency, customer success, and profitable growth. He implements systems and strategies that improve execution, align cross-functional teams, and support the company’s long-term business goals through technical and organizational leadership. 

Richard Brine is a technology leader with over 25 years of experience in product development, engineering, and manufacturing innovation. Since joining Sciemetric shortly after earning his engineering degree from Queen’s University, he has played a key role in developing and advancing Sciemetric’s smart manufacturing solutions, drawing on expertise in in-process testing, data analytics, and system integration.

As Chief Technology Officer at Sciemetric, Richard oversees product strategy, R&D, and customer-focused technology initiatives. He drives cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and services to support the company’s mission of delivering the most intelligent, data-driven manufacturing quality solutions.

Rob Doyle is a skilled operations and production leader with a background in electronic engineering technology, earned from St. Lawrence College. With a foundation in circuit design, systems troubleshooting, and electronics manufacturing, he brings a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

As Director of Manufacturing at Sciemetric, Rob has been a key member of the company since 1991. He oversees all aspects of production, procurement, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and product repairs. Rob leads the teams responsible for delivering high-quality hardware products on time and within budget, while driving improvements in manufacturing processes and operational efficiency. His deep experience and leadership ensure Sciemetric’s manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

With over 35 years of experience in controls, systems integration, assembly, and industrial test equipment, Steve Ventimiglio joined Sciemetric in 2014 to establish and lead a new integration division (ISD). He holds a Bachelor of Science with a triple major in Mathematics, Physics, and Economics from Eastern Michigan University, and brings a strong technical and analytical foundation to large-scale industrial solutions.

As Manager of the Integrated Systems Division, he has grown the division from the ground up into a successful multi-office operation. Under his leadership, the ISD team has delivered complex, multimillion-dollar powertrain and electrification test systems to customers around the world. Based in Rochester Hills, Michigan and Chihuahua, Mexico, the division continues to expand its global reach and capabilities, contributing significantly to Sciemetric’s strategic growth.
