Discontinuation Notice: PSV Leak Software on sigPOD 3404

As of July 17, 2015, the sigPOD 3404 will no longer ship with the PSV Leak application and can be used only with customized Sciemetric applications.

The change is due to the incompatibility of the application with the Windows 7 Embedded operating system and that many users of the sigPOD 3404 are using custom applications built in Sciemetric’s InspeXion software.  

Customers may request a downgrade of their sigPOD 3404 operating system to Windows XP and receive the PSV Leak application until January 12, 2016. This will be provided at no cost. To receive the downgrade, customers should ensure part number 10500-3404-XPD0 is included on their orders.

Key Dates

•  Product Discontinuation Notice and first date of change:  Effective July 17, 2015

•  Last Time Buy (date for last order acceptance of downgraded version): 
  January 12, 2016¹ 

• Warranty Support until:  As per Terms and Conditions

• Technical Support for PSV Leak application (on a best efforts basis) until:
  January 12, 2016² 

¹Last time buy of a sigPOD with XP as the OS.

²This is technical support on the XP OS and is the date at which Microsoft support ends.

Please refer to the discontinuation notice of Windows XP on the sigPOD platform for additional information. This discontinuation notice is only for the software application on the sigPOD 3404 unit and not the unit itself.
